Recently, we attended a job in Picton, Wollondilly where a customer had an underground water leak in their driveway.

After approximately 1 hour on site, we located, exposed the leaking section of copper pipe cut out and repaired the proper way.

👉 In high-risk areas like this driveway, a properly silver soldered copper joint is the superior solution.

While carrying out the repair, we also identified:

• The existing water main is thin gauge Type A copper

• This type of pipe is more prone to:

• Wear

• Damage

• Future leaks

👉 We recommended:

If the driveway is ever being concreted or resurfaced, it would be the ideal time to replace the entire main run.
